Lust List

lustlist1// After being inspired by Dominique’s art post, I decided I need to share my favorite art and artists more often.  I’m in love with Los Angeles photographer, Max Wanger’s vibrant, beachy images and I think I may need to add some of his work to my nonexistent collection. I’ve also been eyeing art from two of my super talented blog friends, Gaby and Jen. I am certain my walls would look much better with one of Gaby’s flower photos and Jen’s dot poster.

2// I am not even a big earrings wearer, but I have become obsessed with Ryan Storer’s rose gold and crystal ear cuff and it must be mine. I told my husband that I was going to buy the cuff and stud tonight and he did not seem very please. I think we know what that means…it’s super stylish!!

3// Ok how gorgeous is this bag? And I have nothing against the Pashli in fact I love it, but it is so nice to see different styles like the Ryder from Phillip Lim! I am in love with the top handle trend for fall and there are plenty of fabulous styles out there, but I love that this one has a shoulder strap as well.

4// Tartan plaids were all over the runways for fall and what better way to get on the trend than this MSGM coat? Ugh it’s so cute. I also have my eye on this tartan Stella Falabella bag. Dying!

5// The Shopbop sale is in full effect and I have spent wayyy too much time on the site picking up goodies. You can find markdowns up to 70% off so hurry over and get your Shopbop on! I think my next purchase may have to be this laser cut  Equipment shirt that’s 60% off!!

6// Although I don’t have a child, I can’t help but be in love with all things Stella McCartney Kids. Every time we go in the store, we leave with something for my nieces and while I’d love to get them these little booties, I’d rather they be in my size so I can wear them. Um that was so selfish. But how adorable are they? They are insanely pricey for children’s shoes, but when are you ever going to find little booties as adorable as these?? Also in the “will you please make these for adults” category: the most adorable tights you will ever see!

1// After Gaby’s hat talk yesterday, I had to go check out my favorite style from J. Crew, the baseball hat. Whaaaat?!?! Did that come out of my mouth {or keyboard}? Obsessing over baseball hats? Well they are all the rage and of course J. Crew makes the trend almost impossible to pass up with leopard ,crystal embellished and color blocked versions.

2// Usually in the summer, I don’t notice how gross my skin is because my tan distracts me, but since I am paler than a ghost right now, I can’t help but notice my poor complexion. I literally googled “Facial in a bottle” and BOOM…Kate Somerville’s Dermal Quench Liquid Lift popped up. It took her five years to create this foamy solution and according to reviews, it gives you more radiant skin and diminishes wrinkles. I’m sold!

3// Ok Ok I know… crop tops are tricky to wear and downright scary, but I can’t help what I love and right now, I love me a crop top.  Now, I don’t have the best abs, but I feel like if you get a long enough crop top and high waisted skirt {like my newest fashion hero, Natalie Joos}, you will be golden. I just bought this top and skirt at Topshop so we will soon see if my theory is correct. I have also amped up my Insanity workouts and am drinking this **”belly flattening” rancid concoction on Pinterest so hopefully at least one of the two helps.

**Side Note to #3: Y’all I’m not kidding.. this Dr. Oz recommended drink that I consumed last night is sick!! You are supposed to drink one before each meal so I will give it a few days and let you know if it’s worth it.

4// I am smitten with Maison Kitsune’s fox embroidered sweatshirt. I mean, if it has an animal on it, most likely I’m going to love it…especially when it’s in sweatshirt form! And these little foxes just make me happy.

5//  I don’t know if you’ve heard, but the girls behind Marchesa are launching a contemporary {aka more attainable} line, Marchesa Voyage. The line will feature separates that are more much wearable than it’s sister line’s voluminous ball gowns and cocktail minis. The aesthetic? “A gypsy in New York” feel. Urban bohemian wear? Yes please! See more from the collection here. Shop some of the available pieces here.

6// I saw this picture from Furbish Studio on Pinterest the other day and immediately fell in love. I honestly want to recreate the entire look of this picture in my home {which shows my creativity level} starting with the colorful snake prints! Get your own snakey prints right here.
