We are about to “re-decorate” our bedroom and I am pretty excited about it. I use the term “re-decorate” loosely because the only thing that has really ever been “decorated” in that room in the past four years is the bedding and the bedside tables. But this time, we are getting the works.. curtains, lamps and new bedding. I am bi-polar about bedding and this will be our fourth time to change our duvet {average of one every year not bad right?}! Our latest look is an all white duvet, shams with black piping and a moroccan wedding blanket and while I love the serene look, the all white is not very practical for two fur babies who sleep on it with us. So, it’s time for a change! We had a stylist from Blueprint come over on Monday and I showed her a few inspiring looks including Taylor Tomasi Hill’s bedding I featured last week and some pretty printed fabrics seen below.

Obsessed with the Bengale Tiger by Manuel Canovas fabric on this headboard mixed with the Casamance geometric bed spread

What kind of bedding do you have? Any suggestions? Any favorites from above?

I can’t wait to see what you do! How exciting!
That second to last room is just so beautiful! I love the soothing pastel color palette and the tribal printed sheets. Lovely picks too!
Oh, I can’t WAIT to see how it turns out. I love seeing home decor before and afters!
I love all white with pops of color! Lately I’m completely obsessed with everything Biscuit and Leontine. Leontine monograms literally send me into heart palpitations!! I really love that last photo with all the mixed prints!
Wait a minute, does your hubby like all the fun/bold prints? If he does, kudos to him lol. We have greys, whites, and stripes, and I LOVE IT!
My hubby will like what I order him to like! JK He has given up on fighting on decor!
I love the mix and match concept so much. Also those Kanthra blankets are unreal!
My bedding is very clean and minimal so my hubby has no issues with it. He and I always seem to disagree with decor choices, it has been a struggle at times. I have the Restoration Hardware duvet with the gray border. Pretty boring. However, I had some amazing pillows made recently in this great fabric from Kravet. I used my gray and white zebra pillows from West Elm that I already had then had a gorge bolster made in green velvet with some great trim. I am super happy with the result! I love your inspiration, can’t wait to see how your bedroom turns out. Congrats on the fact that your hubby has given up fighting on decor. Sweet!

Love the polka dots! I’m currently in process of switching up our bedding too but haven’t settled in anything. I don’t know why I’m having such bedding commitment issues! I’m leaning towards a white duvet and shams with a black border though and mixing it up with a fur blanket at the end of the bed for my fur baby, maybe some graphic pillows too!
Oooooo! I love your inspiration pictures – I cannot wait to see how it turns out!

Oh bedding is so fun! I have all white Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic bedding and love it, but I can see why you’d want to change things up with some fun prints! Can’t wait to see what you end up with!
Eeek! We’ve been “re-doing” our bedroom for like 2 years now. Sigh…Love my gray west elm duvet and navy and white sheets. Very calming for the bedroom space.
so fun. my own bedroom is all white, but i really love that pink graphic print.
Great post and timely for me! I’m a frequent bedding switcher-upper myself and I came across an image last night that is just haunting me. I feel more inspired than ever to go in another direction for our master.
Your photos for inspiration are beautiful. Bed linen’s are one of my fave things. I got some of mine from Schweitzer linen in NYC and love them…such beautiful quality.I agree about that beautiful Canovas headboard! Let me know what you end up deciding on!
New bedding is the best part! I’m currently dreaming up a makeover for our bedroom and I’m loving ikat printed duvet covers and quilts. We have a furry roommate and we throw an old blanket over the bed once it’s made to prevent (as much as possible) doggie fur everywhere
I’m all about the bright quilts. Taylor Tomasi Hill’s bedding is gorgeous, as I would expect! Hope you share pics when you finish your bedroom!
OMG love TTHs room! Is she serious?! Of course she is she’s perfect! So I have all white in our room and the guest room– because I can’t nail down a pattern I love! We have to put extra sheets on top of it to keep it clean- I’m like the lady with a big cover on her couch!!! haha
OOOH la la, I love where this bedroom redesign is headed. Cannot wait to see how it turns out!!

Oh these linens…I love the mixed bedding set but those kantha quilts are calling my name! Absolutely gorg!!
Ooh, I like what I see!!
Ah love all of this inspiration. Can’t wait to see the finished product! xo, Julie
